Many residents of Cameron Park enjoy outdoor recreation. There is much outside to keep you busy, with a lake nearby and plenty of green space, hills, and sandy areas. Though the community is on the smaller side, there is still plenty around town to do and see, with many dining destinations available. Many homeowners within Airpark Estates even have personal hangars to make flying between home and nearby big cities a breeze.

Dining, entertainment, and shopping are plentiful in Cameron Park. You can start by joining the Cameron Park Country Club if you desire. Doing so gives you access to numerous amenities and entertainment options to keep you busy. Golf. Hit the tennis courts. Swim. Various on-site dining options allow you to enjoy cocktails on the deck, meals on the lookout lounge, or a full buffet in the Sierra Room. It’s one of the most luxurious establishments in town.
For the best Italian food in El Dorado County, visit Papa Gianni’s Ristorante. You won’t be disappointed with their pizza, pasta, and meat dishes. It is located within the Goldorado Shopping Center, the perfect place to find all your clothing and home goods, with various shops and restaurants in and near the building.
Many people prefer making the quick drive to El Dorado Hills for a night out at C. Knight’s Steakhouse, one of the most favored locations for prime steaks, premium cocktails, and local beer and wine. It’s within the El Dorado Hills Town Center, another nearby shopping destination with upscale options.
Cameron Park Lake is the top destination in town for entertainment. When you want to enjoy time on the water, have a picnic, fish, play disc golf, or enjoy any of your other favorite activities, there is plenty in the area to keep you busy.
Things To Do
The Cameron Park Community Services District hosts many festivals and events for residents and tourists alike. Located at Christa McAuliffe Park, you will find the Movies in the Park event that allows you and your family to watch a show outdoors. Meanwhile, the Thunder in the Park Car Show and Movie at the Lake are held at Cameron Park Lake.
The Cameron Park Family Festival hosts live music and food trucks every summer, while the Summer Spectacular 4th of July Fest brings the community together each summer. Trunk or Treat events, a Halloween Boo Bash, and many other special occasions also take place in Cameron Park.
When you want to enjoy some fresh produce, hit the Cameron Park Farmers Market. It’s typically held at Christa McAuliffe.
